About MGPC

Morningside General Practice Clinic started up approximately 30 years ago by Dr. Allan Phillips and his wife, Janet. Since then Allan has been joined by Dr. Colin Kratzing and Dr. Heather Jenkins who share ownership of the practice with Allan. In 2012, Belmont General Practice Clinic opened, which is linked to Morningside so patients are able to visit either practice and still have all their records centralised.

Making appointments
Longer consultations are available on request.  Please ask reception if you require some extra time, or are unsure how long you should book for.  Please book double appointments for complex problems and Insurance and Employment Medicals.  Some doctors require longer appointments for new patients.  Please also book an appointment for each family member that needs to be seen.

Reception will attempt to contact you if there is any unforeseen delay, or the doctor has been called away.  Every effort is made to keep as close to scheduled appointment times as possible.  Variation occurs when it becomes necessary to fit in urgent cases between normal appointments. MGPC apologises for delays, however suggest that you phone ahead of your appointment time to see how the GP is running.

Emergencies will always be given priority and reception will attempt to contact you or update you on the progress of your scheduled appointment.

Interpreter services 
Are available if required, please let reception know when you make an appointment and this can be organised for you. 

Culturally appropriate care
To assist with disease prevention and to deliver culturally appropriate care, please advise the GP of your cultural background.
                                                                                                  
After hours care
This practice has an arrangement with Hello Home Doctor Service, which provides care for patients outside of normal consulting hours. Please call 134 100 should you require assistance, or ask reception if you would like more information.  Their website is https://hellohomedoctor.com.au/
