Dr. Allan Phillips has been working in General Practice in the Morningside area for most of his career. He graduated from the University of Queensland in 1977, and has been a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) since 1983. Together with Dr Kratzing, he was a foundation board member of the Brisbane Inner South Division of General Practice (now BSPHN).
He is married to Dr. Janet Phillips, a co-founder of the practice and they have five children. Dr Phillips has a wide range of medical interests, in particular - preventative medicine, diabetes, paediatrics, patient education, cardiovascular disease, skin cancer and aged care.
Speciality
Dr Damian Gilbert graduated from the University of Queensland in 1994 and completed his General Practice training in 2000. He worked at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and Bundaberg Base Hospital before starting General Practice in Brisbane Southside in 1998. He joined MGPC in February 2008.
He is married and has two adult daughters.
He values excellence in healthcare for his patients and has a thorough approach to his consultations. He is Mater Aligned for antenatal care and enjoys all aspects of General Practice.

Dr "Roddy" McNicol joined the practice after relocating from the UK in Sept 2013. He has been a GP since 1998, working in a variety of practices in England, Scotland and New Zealand. He is interested in the management of diabetes and all other areas of General Practice, especially paediatrics.

Dr Wendy Burton graduated from the University of Queensland in 1987. She is married with three boys and enjoys the variety and challenge of General Practice. Wendy is passionate about helping to build a stronger society and working to improve health outcomes, both within her consulting room and by working on connecting the health care sectors.
In addition to her principal work role as a GP, she works at a local, state and national level in the maternity and early childhood space.
Her principal interests are in Women's Health, Antenatal Care, Paediatrics and Asthma.

Dr. Karen Ramsay has been with Morningside General Practice since 2004, after 25 years in Rural General Practice in NSW. Her special interest is 'Skin Cancer Medicine' and 'Skin Cancer Surgery'. She has undergone Post-Graduate training in Skin Cancer Medicine and has obtained a Masters of Medicine at the University of Queensland. Dr Victoria Featherstone has worked in the local area for 20 years and is interested in all aspects of general healthcare. She has a particular interest in women's, children's and LGBTI health. Dr Featherstone completed a Diploma in Childrens Health in 2015 and a certificate in Sexual Health in 2016. She has attended workshops in Gender Medicine and is passionate about treating transgender patients.

Dr. Nicola Shankey graduated from the University of Queensland in 1998 and joined Morningside General Practice in 2006 after the birth of her first child (now a mother of 3). Dr Shankey has been a fellow of the RACGP since 2007, and has completed a Diploma of Child Health in 2015. Dr Shankey is also aligned with the Mater Mother's Hospital to provide shared antenatal care.
Dr. Shankey is currently not taking new patients.

Dr. Catherine O’Neill graduated from The University of Queensland in 1999. Since then, she has worked in medicine both in Australia and overseas and commenced her G.P. training in 2004. Dr. O’Neill enjoys the scope of G.P. and working with people to help them achieve their best health. She has a particular interest in paediatrics, women's wellbeing, ENT and sporting injuries.

Dr. Amy Langford-Ely enjoys providing quality healthcare for people across their lifespan. Amy completed a Bachelor of Science with a Major in Psychology followed by a Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery at University of Queensland in 2011. She has worked at Logan hospital and the Mater hospital. Since then Amy has worked in general practice and is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Amy enjoys all aspects of general practice, particularly being able to provide care for the whole family with a focus on prevention. Her particular areas of interest are chronic disease, maintaining health in older age, shared pregnancy care (Mater aligned) and women's health.

Dr Nicole Dever graduated from the University of Queensland in 1998. She attained the Fellowship of the RACGP in 2004. She is kept busy with her four children and strives for a good work life balance. She enjoys all aspects of general practice especially paediatrics, women’s health, eczema management and mental health. She is a qualified Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME) with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and will conduct aviation medicals by appointment.

Zac graduated from the University of Queensland in 2003. After graduation, he embarked on his RAAF return of service, which saw him posted to Newcastle and Townsville. Zac has a broad range of hospital experience, with a focus on Orthopaedics (3 years as a non-training registrar) and Paediatrics. He has been a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners since 2009, and completed two certificates in skin cancer diagnosis and management through the University of Queensland in 2014. He is happily married, has 4 children and likes to keep active doing CrossFit and cycling.
He has special interests in sporting injuries, skin cancer management and paediatrics. Please note: Dr. Miles does not see Workcover patients.
Dr. Miles has relocated up to Townsville but practices from our Morningside clinic fortnightly on Fridays.
